Move the lock button (Fig. 1.35).
To lock: push the button forward. To unlock: pull the button back.
If you want to lock the door from the outside, set the button to the lock position before closing the door. When closing the door, the outside door handle must be raised. Be careful not to lock your keys in the car.
If the vehicle is subjected to a strong impact from the front, rear or side while the ignition switch is in the "ON" position, all doors will unlock automatically.
The driver's door can be opened from the inside even when the interior lock button is in the locked position.
The driver's door cannot be locked if you leave the key in the ignition switch with the door open.
