According to traffic accident statistics, children are less likely to be injured if they are in a special chair or cradle in the back, rather than in the front seat.
Infants and young children must always be transported in a vehicle using appropriate safety equipment.
A rear-facing child seat must not be installed in the front seat if the vehicle is equipped with a front passenger airbag.
If such a child seat is installed in the front seat, the child may be seriously injured when the airbag deploys. Therefore, install rear-facing child seats only in the rear seat.
A forward-facing child seat is also preferred in the rear seat. In the case of installing such a child seat on the front passenger seat, the latter must be moved back to the extreme position.
Attention! Install child restraints in accordance with the product manufacturer's installation instructions. If a child seat or other restraint is not being used temporarily, remove it from the vehicle or secure it with a seat belt to prevent dangerous movement in the passenger compartment during sudden braking or an accident. Do not hold children in your arms while the vehicle is in motion. Do not allow children to stand on their feet or kneel on the car seats. Keep a child out of the luggage compartment while the vehicle is in motion.
Attention! Children whose height does not allow the use of special child restraints must be seated in the rear seat and must be fastened with seat belts. If the shoulder strap of the seat belt is located directly on the child's neck or is too close to the child's neck, move the child to the middle of the rear seat. If you cannot achieve the correct and safe position of the shoulder belt, place the child in a middle seat equipped with only a lap belt.
Installing a child seat using the ALR/ELR seat belt

Baby seat (newborns) used only in the position in which the child sits facing backwards (pic. 1.103).
Warning! Do not install a child seat in the rear seat if it interferes with the front seat locking mechanism. This could result in death or serious injury to the child and front passenger in the event of unexpected braking or collision.
Attention! If the position of the driver's seat does not provide enough room for a safe installation, install a child seat in the rear right seat (left hand drive vehicles), or in the rear left seat (right hand drive cars).
1. Pass the lap and shoulder belt through the infant seat (newborns) or around it according to the manufacturer's instructions and insert the tongue into the buckle, being careful not to twist the strap. Keep the lap belt taut.
Push and pull the child seat in different directions to make sure it is secure. Follow all manufacturer's installation instructions.
2. To remove the infant seat (newborns), press the buckle release button and let the belt fully retract. The belt will move freely and be ready for use by an adult passenger or older child again.
Reclining child seat installation
The child seat can be used either front-facing or rear-facing, depending on the age and height of the child. When installing, follow the manufacturer's instructions for the appropriate age and height of the child, as well as the instructions for installing the child seat.

1. Pass the lap and shoulder belt through the child seat (folding) or around it according to the manufacturer's instructions and insert the tongue into the buckle, being careful not to twist the strap. Keep the waist belt taut (pic. 1.104).
2. Pull out the seat belt fully to lock it. If the belt is then slightly retracted, it can no longer be pulled out.
To securely fasten the child seat (folding), make sure the belt is in lock mode before allowing it to retract.
3. Strongly pressing the seat for children (folding) to the seat cushion and backrest, let the belt retract as far as it will go to securely fasten the child seat (folding).
4. To remove the child seat (folding) press the buckle release button and let the belt fully retract. The belt will move freely and be ready for use by an adult passenger or older child again.
Using the Top Strap When Installing a Reclining Child Seat

Use the mounting bracket on the shelf behind the rear seats to attach the top belt. Mounting brackets are installed for each rear seat. A special symbol indicates the location of the mounting bracket (pic. 1.105).
1. Remove the head restraint.
2. Open the cover of the mounting bracket.
3. Fasten the child seat securely with the seat belt. Attach the hook to the mounting bracket and tighten the top strap.
4. Put the head restraint in place and lift it to its highest position until it locks into place.
Attention! Make sure the top strap is secure and make sure the child seat is also secure by trying to rock it in different directions. Follow all manufacturer's installation instructions.
Installation with ISOFIX rigid mounts (ISOFIX child seat attachment system)

Special mounting rods for the child seat anchorage system comply with ISO requirements and are mounted on the rear seat (pic. 1.106).
These rods are installed in the gaps between the cushion and the backrest of both side rear seats.

The ISO-compliant child seat is fastened with these special fastening rods. In this case, it is not necessary to secure the child seat with the seat belt (pic. 1.107).
1. Slightly increase the gap between the cushion and the seatback and fix the position of the special mounting rods near the button on the seatback.
2. Snap the buckles onto the rods.
If the child seat has a top belt, it must be secured. For detailed installation information, please refer to the instruction manual supplied with each product.
Attention! When using special anchoring bars for the child seat anchoring system, check that there are no foreign objects near the bars and that the seat belts are not pinched.
Attention! Push and pull the child seat in different directions to make sure it is secure. Follow all child seat manufacturer's installation instructions.
Warning! Do not install a child seat in the rear seat of a vehicle if it interferes with the locking mechanism of the front seats. This could result in serious injury or death to the child and front passenger in the event of an unexpected braking or collision.
