1. Check wheel alignment (see chapter "Suspension")
2. Make sure that the position of the steering wheel matches the direction of travel.
A) Set the steering wheel in the direction of travel in a straight line and after driving the car for five meters, check that it is moving straight ahead.
b) Mark the steering wheel and upper steering column cover with tape.
3. Check the neutral position of the steering mechanism.
A) Hang the front of the car.
b) Lower the vehicle by placing the front wheels on the swivel plates.
V) Turning the steering wheel all the way to the right, and then to the left, measure the angle of the inside turning of the wheel.
The measurement difference for the left and right wheels should not exceed 2°.
If the difference exceeds the specified value, adjust the length of the tie rod ends.
G) Install the car with rear wheels on swivel pancakes.
d) Hang the front of the car and place it on stands.
e) Measure the steering angles of the rear wheels by turning the steering wheel all the way to the right and then all the way to the left.
The measurement difference for the left and right wheels should be no more than 45'.
If the difference is greater than the specified value, adjust.
