Note: Depending on the configuration, spark plugs with two electrodes can be installed.
1. Disconnect high voltage wires from spark plugs.
2. Remove the spark plugs using a 16mm spark plug wrench.
3. Clean the spark plugs with a sandblaster or wire brush.
4. Visually inspect the condition of the spark plugs for worn electrodes, damaged threads, or (And) insulator. Replace spark plugs if necessary.
Recommended spark plugs:
3S-FE, 4S-FE:
- ND — K20TR11
- ND — K20R-U11
5. Adjust the gap between the electrodes by bending only the side electrode.
Nominal clearance - 1.1 mm
6. Install spark plugs, tighten them.
Tightening torque - 18 Nm
7. Connect the high voltage wires to the spark plugs.
