2. With the engine off, check the fluid level and top up if necessary.
- Working fluid - ATF DEXRON(R) II or III
Note: if the working fluid is warmed up, the fluid level is in the range "NOT" on the tank or dipstick, if cold - in the interval "COLD".
3. Warm up the working fluid.
- A) Start the engine and set the idle speed.
- b) Turn the steering wheel several times from lock to lock to increase the temperature of the working fluid to 80°C.
4. Check for foaming or emulsification of the liquid. If foaming or emulsification is present, bleed the power steering system.

- A) Measure the fluid level with the engine running
- b) Stop the engine, wait a few minutes and check the fluid level.
Maximum increase in liquid level - 5 mm
If the increase in fluid level is more than 5 mm, bleed the system.
6. Check fluid level.
