Rear cable
1. Raise the rear of the car and secure it on stands. Remove the corresponding rear wheel.
2. Check that the handbrake is fully released and remove the brake disc or brake drum.
3. On models with drum brakes, remove the brake shoes and disconnect the handbrake cable from the lever on the brake shoe. On models with rear disc brakes, remove the hand brake pads and disconnect the hand brake cable from the lever on the rear brake pad.
4. Unscrew the two bolts securing the cable sheath to the brake shield.
5. Under the car, unscrew the bolts of all fastenings of the handbrake cable.
6. Remove the center exhaust pipe.
7. Unscrew the clamp bolts and remove the front parts of the rear handbrake cables from the clamps.
8. Disconnect the front parts of the rear handbrake cables from the compensator.
9. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
10. Adjust the handbrake cable.
Intermediate cable

1 – an intermediate cable of a manual brake; 2 - gasket; 3 - casing; 4 - bracket; 5 - intermediate lever; 6 - axis; 7 - bushings; 8 - bushing; 9 - shaft; 10 - bushing; 11 - gasket; 12 - fastening bracket; 13 - roller; 14 - bushing; 15 - bushing; 16 - compensator
1. Remove the center console.
2. Release the handbrake lever, unscrew the locknut and adjusting nut, and remove the handbrake cable from the intermediate lever.
3. Working under the vehicle, remove the rear intermediate cable retainer from the compensator, rotate it 90°and remove it from the compensator. Remove the intermediate handbrake cable from under the vehicle.
4. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Adjust the handbrake cable.
Front handbrake cable

1. Remove the center console.
2. Disconnect the front handbrake cable from the intermediate lever.
3. Disconnect the handbrake switch.
4. Remove the cotter pin, press out the pin, and disconnect the front of the front handbrake cable from the handbrake pedal assembly.
5. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
