The location of the screws for fastening the switching vacuum valve
1. Relieve the pressure in the fuel system.
2. Remove the ground wire from the battery.
Attention! If your radio has an anti-theft code, check that you have the pairing codes before disconnecting the battery.
Attention! On models since 1993, the airbag system is disabled if the battery is disconnected for an extended period. If the airbag warning light comes on and stays on after reconnecting the battery, take it to a specialist workshop to restore the system to normal.
3. Remove the PCV hose from the cylinder head and intake manifold.
4. Unscrew the screws securing the switching vacuum valve (VSP) and move the valve to the side.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors and move the wiring harness with connectors to the side.
6. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator.
7. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel pressure regulator and fuel line.
8. To access the bolts of the rear fuel line, you must first remove the air intake chamber.
9. Remove the fuel line mounting bolts.
10. Remove the fuel line along with the fuel injectors.
11. Remove the fuel injectors from the fuel line.
12. Use new O-rings when installing fuel injectors.
13. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
