The location of the O-ring when installing the pressure regulator on the fuel line
1. Relieve pressure in the fuel line.
2. Remove the ground wire from the battery.
Attention! If your radio has an anti-theft code, check that you have the pairing codes before disconnecting the battery.
Attention! On models since 1993, the airbag system is disabled if the battery is disconnected for an extended period. If the airbag warning light comes on and stays on after reconnecting the battery, take it to a specialist workshop to restore the system to normal.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator.
4. Loosen the clamp and remove the fuel return hose from the pressure regulator.
5. Unscrew the pressure regulator mounting bolts and remove the pressure regulator from the fuel line.
6. Using the O-ring, install the pressure regulator on the fuel line (see fig. The location of the O-ring when installing the pressure regulator on the fuel line).
7. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
