Location of the clutch starter switch
The clutch starter switch is located on the bracket behind the clutch pedal.
1. Check the installation height and free play of the clutch pedal.
2. Check that the engine cannot be started without pressing the clutch pedal.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector located on the clutch starter switch wires.
4. Using an ohmmeter, check that the switch contacts close when the plunger is pressed.
5. Check that when the clutch starter switch pusher is released, its contacts open.
6. To replace the switch, unscrew the mounting nut and remove the switch.
7. To adjust the position of the switch, press the clutch pedal and turn the switch so that the switch plunger protrudes from the housing by 5 mm.
