Typical 4-cylinder engine mounts
1. Rod that regulates the displacement of the engine; 2. Rear engine mount; 3. Manual transmission; 4. Automatic transmission; 5. Collector mounting; 6. Front engine mount; 7. Engine bracket
Examination
1. Raise and secure the front of the vehicle. Place a jack under the oil pan.
2. Inspect the rubber mounts for wear and damage and replace if necessary.
3. Check that the support bolts are firmly tightened.
4. Check if the bearings themselves are worn out.
Replacement
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Raise and secure the front of the vehicle.
2. To remove the right support, twist the nut and remove the through bolt.
3. Unscrew the nuts securing the support to the bracket and remove the support.
4. To remove the rear support, remove the three rubber plugs and twist the support nuts.
5. To remove the front support, unscrew the nut securing it to the engine bracket and unscrew the three bolts securing the support to the body.
6. Installation is in the reverse order.
