Examination
1. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition coils. Connect an ohmmeter to the ignition coil terminals and check the resistance of the ignition coil winding.
Replacement
1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.
2. Remove the upper engine cover.
3. Label and disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition coils.
4. Unscrew the ignition coil mounting bolts and remove the ignition coil together with the high-voltage wire.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
