Replacing the camshaft sealing ring [Toyota Camry XV10]

1. Remove the timing belt, upper idler pulley and camshaft pulley.

2. Remove the rear timing belt cover.



3. Mark the camshaft seal installation depth and use a small screwdriver to remove the seal.

4. Clean the seal ring seat and lubricate the lips of the new seal ring with clean engine oil.

5. Using a tubular mandrel of the appropriate diameter, install the sealing ring into place and to the required depth.

6. Install the rear timing belt cover, camshaft pulley and timing belt.
