The sensor is designed to control the transmission and monitor fuel consumption. The signal from the sensor is a sequence of pulses. The sensor is mounted on the transmission housing.

Examination




1. Disconnect the connector (on the left in the picture - 4-cylinder engine, on the right - 6-cylinder) and check for 12 V on the red/blue wire. If there is no voltage, then check the circuit between the sensor and the fuse.

2. After raising the vehicle, check for a pulsating voltage of 11 V from the sensor when the wheel rotates (hold the second wheel). To do this, connect the connector and connect the positive probe of the voltmeter from the back of the connector to the terminal with the blue wire, and the negative probe to the terminal with the pink wire. If there is no voltage, replace the sensor.

Replacement



Disconnect the connector, unscrew the screw and remove the sensor.
