Air bypass valve

With the engine idling and warmed up, short-circuit the TE1 and E1 terminals on the diagnostic connector (drawing on the left). The speed should increase to 900–1300 rpm and return to normal after 5 seconds. Otherwise, check the resistance of the valve between the middle and outer terminals (drawing on the right), by disconnecting the connector.
Replacement
1. Remove the throttle body (see subsection 6.14.).
2. If the resistance is not within the norm, replace the valve.
3. Loosen the screws and remove the valve.
