Examination
With a warm engine idling, bridge the terminals TE1 and E1 on the diagnostic connector (drawing on the left). The speed should increase to 900-1300 rpm and after 5 seconds return to normal. Otherwise, check the resistance of the valve between the middle and outer terminals (drawing on the right), by disconnecting the connector.
Replacement
1. Remove the throttle body (see subsection 6.14.).
2. If the resistance is out of specification, replace the valve.
3. Turn away screws and get the valve.
