1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Open one of the doors.
The door open indicator light should come on.
3. Close the door.
The door open indicator light should go out.
4. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine. All indicator lights should come on except the door open indicator light. After a few seconds, the indicator lights will go out "ABS" "VSC", the "TRC OFF" indicator light and the slip indicator light. The SRS indicator light goes out after approximately 6 seconds.
If any of the indicator lights or buzzer does not operate as described above, have it checked by your Toyota dealer as soon as possible.
