Remove the remnants of the old gasket, flush the plug of the cooling systems, clean the surfaces of the plug and block with a volatile solvent, and do not allow oil to come into contact with the plug-to-cylinder block contact surface. Apply sealant to the plug, as shown in Figure 2.370.

Screw in the coolant drain plug by applying sealant to 2-3 turns of its threads and tightening it with a tightening torque of 39 Nm. After reaching the standard tightening torque, turn the plug clockwise so that its drain tube is pointing down (pic. 2.371).
Tighten the oil filter fitting with a tightening torque of 30 Nm.
Install the oil filter.
