2. Check lever travel (pedals) applying the parking brake. pull the lever (press the pedal) apply the parking brake all the way and count the number of clicks.
Lever movement (pedals) applying the parking brake with a tension force:
- 196 N (for lever) - 4 - 7 clicks
- 294 N (for pedal) - 3-6 clicks
3. Make sure the indicator lamp lights up when the parking brake is applied.
4. Install the parking brake lever hole trim (parking brake pedal hole cover).
Rear drum brakes
1. Adjust rear brake clearance.
A) Remove rear wheel and brake drum
b) Measure the inside radius of the brake drum.
V) Measure the maximum radius of the brake drum.
G) Make sure. that the difference between the measured radii is in the indicated units.
- Nominal clearance - 0.6 mm
If the difference between the radii is greater than the specified value, then adjust it by turning the adjusting bolt.
2. Install the brake drum and rear wheel.
- Tightening torque - 105 Nm
Rear disc brakes
1. Adjust parking brake clearance.
A) Remove the wheel and secure the disc with two nuts.
b) Release the lever all the way (pedal) applying the parking brake.
V) Remove the plug from the brake disc.
G) Align the hole in the disc with the adjusting screw.
d) Turn the adjusting screw until the pads block the disc.
e) Make sure the pad is fully seated on the disc. Turn the screw in the opposite direction until the disk starts to rotate freely.
and) Make sure the parking brake cable is not overstretched.
h) Install the plug, nut and wheel.
