Note: when installing and removing the intake manifold absolute pressure sensor or when removing the vacuum tube, stop the engine beforehand.
1. Install vacuum gauges as shown.
2. Checking the mechanism.
Note: The coolant temperature is below 60°C.
A) Start the engine and check that the vacuum in the exhaust gas recirculation system is below 50 mmHg. and is independent of crankshaft speed.
Note: The coolant temperature is above 80°C.
b) Make sure that when idling, the vacuum in the exhaust gas recirculation system is 300 mm Hg, and the vacuum in the lower chamber of the boost corrector is zero.
V) By gradually increasing the engine speed, make sure that at 1500 rpm the vacuum in the exhaust gas recirculation system is 300 mmHg, and the vacuum in the lower chamber of the boost corrector is zero.
G) Make sure that if you fully depress the accelerator pedal, the engine speed will reach 4200 rpm and the vacuum in the exhaust gas recirculation system will be less than 50 mmHg, and the vacuum in the lower chamber of the boost corrector will slowly increase from zero to 300 mm HRT
G) At 3000 rpm, release the accelerator pedal, check that at this point the vacuum in the exhaust gas recirculation system is less than 50 mm. Hg
3. Remove vacuum gauges.
