Note: When installing or removing the manifold absolute pressure sensor or when removing the vacuum pipe, stop the engine first.
1. Install the vacuum gauges as shown in the figure.

2. Checking the mechanism.
Note: Coolant temperature below 60°C.
a) Start the engine and make sure that the vacuum in the EGR system is below 50 mm Hg and does not depend on the crankshaft speed.
Note: Coolant temperature is above 80°C.
b) Make sure that when idling, the vacuum in the EGR system is 300 mm Hg, and the vacuum in the lower chamber of the boost corrector is zero.
c) By gradually increasing the crankshaft speed, make sure that at 1500 rpm the vacuum in the exhaust gas recirculation system is 300 mm Hg, and the vacuum in the lower chamber of the boost corrector is zero.
d) Make sure that when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed, the crankshaft speed reaches 4200 rpm and the vacuum in the EGR system is below 50 mm Hg, and the vacuum in the lower chamber of the boost corrector slowly increases from zero to 300 mm Hg.
d) At 3000 rpm, release the accelerator pedal, make sure that at this moment the vacuum in the EGR system has become less than 50 mm Hg.
3. Remove the vacuum gauges.
