2. Unscrew the rear cover nuts and the generator terminal nut.

3. Remove the generator terminal insulating bushing.

4. Remove the rear cover of the generator.

5. Loosen the screws and remove the brush holder and voltage regulator.

6. Measure the length of the protruding part of the brushes. If the brush length is less than the maximum permissible, replace the brush holder with the brushes.
7. Make sure the brushes move freely in the brush holder.
8. Install a voltage regulator

9. Install the brush holder by pressing the brushes.
10. Insert the brush holder screws into the back cover.
11. Install the cover and tighten the nuts, install the bushing and tighten the nut.
12. Install the generator.
