Starter and traction relay parts

The starting system consists of a battery, starter, traction relay and connecting wires.

On cars with manual transmission, the starter can only be engaged after pressing the clutch pedal. On cars with automatic transmission, the starter can only be engaged in the Park or Neutral selector positions. The starter can only be engaged for a period of no more than 15 seconds.
