Rear wheel steering drive (4WS).
1 - bushing,
2 - drive housing,
3, 7 - housing cover,
4, 8 - ring seal,
5 - figured washer,
6 - gear shaft,
9 - satellites.
Note: Apply consistent grease to the parts indicated by arrows in the assembly drawing.
3. Remove the intermediate support.
a) Loosen the bolt securing the support to the rear propeller shaft.
- Tightening torque - 36 Nm
b) Loosen the two bolts securing the support to the body and remove it.
- Tightening torque - 16 Nm
5. Loosen the bolt securing the rear propeller shaft to the rear steering gear driven gear shaft and remove the shaft.
- Tightening torque - 36 Nm
Installation
The installation of the steering gear cardan shaft is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
When installing the front propeller shaft, align the splines as shown in the figure.
Adjust the rear steering gear to neutral position.
