Removing
1. Remove a back facing of a luggage carrier.
2. Remove a lateral facing of a luggage carrier.
3. Disconnect the sensor and actuator connectors.
4. Lock the neutral position of the rear steering gear.
Removing the rear steering gear (4WS).
1 - side lining of the trunk,
2 - rear cardan shaft of the steering mechanism,
3 - rear lining of the trunk,
4 - steering gear assembly,
5 - cotter pin,
6 - wiring protective cover.
Note: if you are replacing the steering assembly, this operation can be omitted.
5. Turn away three bolts and remove a protective casing of conducting.
- Tightening torque - 5.5 Nm
6. Remove the rear propeller shaft of the steering mechanism.
A) Turn away a bolt of fastening of a back shaft to an intermediate support.
- Tightening torque - 36 Nm
b) Unscrew the bolt securing the shaft to the driven gear of the rear steering mechanism and remove the shaft.
- Tightening torque - 36 Nm
7. Disconnect the tie rod ends from the steering knuckle arms.
- Tightening torque - 60 Nm
Note: when connecting the tie rod ends to the levers for installing the cotter pin, it is possible to turn the nut by an angle of not more than 60°.
8. Turn away four nuts and remove the back steering mechanism in gathering.
- Tightening torque - 65 Nm
Installation
1. Installation of the propeller shaft of the steering mechanism is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Attention: do not turn the steering wheel until you have unlocked the rear steering mechanism.
2. Check rear wheel steering angles.
3. Adjust the neutral position of the rear steering gear.

Note: when assembling, apply to the parts indicated by the arrows:
- white arrow, black arrow - grease,
