1. Using a punch and hammer, drive the crankshaft rear seal ring out of the crankshaft rear cover.
2. Lubricate the outside of the new crankshaft rear seal ring and, using a block of wood, install the seal ring into the crankshaft rear cover.
3. Lubricate the sealing lips with clean engine oil. Install the rear crankshaft cover to the cylinder block. On four-cylinder engines, the rear crankshaft cover is installed with a gasket, and on six-cylinder engines, with sealant. Secure the crankshaft rear cover with bolts, tightening them to the required torque.
