1. Before installing new piston rings, check the piston ring gap.
2. Position the pistons and piston rings according to the cylinders they will operate in.
3. Install the top sealing ring into the first cylinder and use the bottom of the piston to push it into the cylinder to the base of the cylinder.
4. Using a feeler gauge, measure the gap in the ring lock.
5. Repeat the measurement process with the ring installed on top of the cylinder and compare the measurement results with the specifications.
6. Repeat the checking operation for each ring in the first cylinder, then for the rings in the remaining cylinders.
7. Install the piston rings on the pistons in the same manner as when removing them.

8. First of all, the oil scraper ring is installed, which consists of three separate elements. Install the oil scraper ring expander into the piston groove.
9. Then install the upper and lower oil scraper rings in sequence.
10. Install compression ring #2 so that the mark on the end of the ring faces upward. Do not confuse the first and second compression rings, as they have different profiles.
11. After installing the piston rings on the piston, check the ease of movement of the piston ring in the piston groove.
