Apply sealant to the timing chain cover, as shown in Figure 2.160 (layer thickness 3–4 mm).

Do not apply excess sealant to contact surfaces. Parts must be assembled within the time specified in the instructions for use of the sealant. Otherwise, remove the sealant again and lay a new one. Apply sealant to the places shown in Figure 2.161 (layer thickness 2 mm).

Install the timing chain cover. Evenly, in several passes, tighten fourteen bolts and two nuts (pic. 2.162).
Tightening torques:
- bolt «A» — (length 30 mm, head 10 mm) - 9 Nm;
- bolt «IN» — (length 30 mm, head 12 mm) - 21 Nm;
- bolt «WITH» — (length 40 mm, head 14 mm) - 43 Nm;
- nuts - 9 Nm.
