1. Steering mechanism; 2. Suspension arm; 3. Fastening the ball joint; 4. Rack and spring; 5. Stabilizer link

Rear suspension units

1. Stabilizer bar; 2. Suspension arm (N1); 3. Suspension strut rod; 4. Rear suspension bracket; 5. Suspension strut; 6. Stabilizer bar bushing clamp; 7. Suspension arm (N₂)

The front suspension is of the MacPherson type. The upper part of the strut is attached to the body through special cups ("caps"). The lower part of the strut is attached to the upper part of the steering knuckle. The knuckle is attached to a ball joint mounted on the suspension arm.

The rear suspension is also equipped with struts. The upper part of the strut is attached to the body through the caps. The lower part of the strut is attached to the rear axle bracket. The suspension bracket is pivotally connected to a pair of levers on each side and to a longitudinal rod.

The steering is rack and pinion, consisting of a toothed rack and sector. The steering mechanism is mounted behind the power unit. The force on the steering knuckle is transmitted through the steering rods connected to the steering mechanism.

When repairing the suspension, it is necessary to pre-wet all fasteners exposed to dirt and water with penetrating liquid. The use of heat when unscrewing threaded connections is highly discouraged for fire safety reasons.

Replace bolts and nuts that require significant effort to loosen.

Attention! It is prohibited to straighten suspension parts using heat. When replacing, install only suspension parts that correspond to the catalog for this car model.
